Traits and Assists

Traits and assists are how a bought character becomes a raid character. Anime Dimensions Simulator (Roblox, Albatross Games, released 11 June 2021) lets you reroll a trait onto a face you already own and park a second kit in an assist slot. Neither system replaces the raid tier list. Both systems eat the same Raid Tokens you want for limited keys and the same patience you want for pets. This page is the spend order.

Traits cannot be farmed as drops inside Infinite, raids, dimensions, or Boss Rush. You only reroll them. Infinite (level 20) is a daily Trait Token allowance, not a trait drop table.

How to change a trait

Open BAG, tap the character icon, then Change Trait on the left. Each roll costs 50 Raid Tokens or 100 Trait Tokens. There is no pity and no choice of line; you pay and you take the rarity that lands.

Published rates:

RarityChance
Common45.4%
Uncommon32%
Rare15%
Epic5%
Legendary2%
Mythic0.5%
Divine0.1%

Common-to-Legendary lines include Executioner (mob/boss damage), Speedster (cooldown and assist cooldown), Destruction (Attack %), Regeneration (HP regen), Vicious (crit chance/damage), Auspicious (EXP/gold), and Resolute (damage taken down, HP up). Mythic examples: Vampire (heal on damage, bonus at full HP) and Reaper (crit plus combo scaling). Divine is the 0.1% lottery.

For a raid main, bias toward Destruction, Executioner, Vicious, Vampire, Reaper. Auspicious is a leveling trait, not an eight-minute raid trait. Speedster is the cooldown line if your kit is already stacked on damage. Do not blow 2,000 tokens chasing Divine on a starter you will bench; see raids for how those tokens also buy keys.

When to roll versus when to save

Roll when you have a main you will still play next month: a 1,600-plus gem buy, a raid shop S, or a costume that actually moved the character rankings row (Gear 5, Incarnate, Final, Six Paths, Shrine). A Common Destruction on that main is already a raid upgrade.

Save when:

  • You do not own a real main yet.
  • A limited raid you care about is up and keys cost 400 Raid Tokens (twice a day).
  • Pet pity or a pet shop face is the next account spike — pets have their own page.
  • You are under level 15 and have no raid income. Trait Tokens from Infinite do not exist until 20, and even then they cap once per day (reset 00:00 GMT).

Raid Tokens are the flexible wallet: 50 per trait roll, 400 per event key (twice daily), 3,600-class character shop prices. Spending the whole stack on traits the week a limited costume you want is in the shop is how accounts stall. A Mythic on a C-tier dimension drop is a trophy, not a plan.

Cards from Infinite and dimensions stack with traits. A Legendary card with four sub-stats plus a Rare Destruction trait will beat a Common character with a lucky Divine and empty card slots. Build wide on the main, not tall on the gacha of 0.1%.

The assist slot, briefly

You bring one main and one assist. The assist is not “my second S-tier.” Damage from the assist kit is a rounding error next to the main’s eight-minute uptime. What you want is an assist whose awakening or extra effect is an Attack buff, boss-damage buff, or a short cooldown coverage — not a famous name.

The video on this page is an assist ranking, not a trait tutorial. Take the headline: mains and assists diverge. A unit that is S as a main can be a dead assist. Starter faces as assists are fine while you own nothing with a buff; they are not a gem sink. Do not buy Alturia or a 1,600 A-tier “for the assist” until the raid main, a usable trait, and a raid accessory exist.

Assist cooldown reduction shows up on Speedster and on high collection-point nodes. That is a late-account bonus. Early accounts should treat the assist as a free slot with a buff if you have one, and ignore it if you do not.

Party size still beats both systems. Eight players are +70% team damage in a raid. A Divine trait in a solo lobby loses to a Rare trait in a full room. Online co-op is the multiplier; traits are the polish.

Spend order that does not brick the wallet

  1. Own a main (gem shop 1,600-plus or raid shop S).
  2. Put any damage trait that is Uncommon or better on that main. Stop if tokens are needed for a key this week.
  3. Slot an assist that buffs Attack if you have one. If not, slot whoever is leftover.
  4. Buy the accessory and cards that raise the same main.
  5. Pets and extra keys.
  6. Divine chasing, extra assists, and rolling traits onto alts.

July 2026 buffed a cluster of S/A names (Dusk, Nyx Sword King, Shinobi Six Paths, Scarlet Cutter, Tengu, Sun Gomi, Cursed Sage, Sora Sun God, and others). If you just pulled one of those, they are the trait target — not the 50-gem Shinobi still sitting in BAG. Codes at 10, raids at 15, Infinite at 20: you cannot even feed this system until those gates open.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, raids, gems, and character picks.

How do I reroll a trait?

BAG → character icon → Change Trait. Pay 50 Raid Tokens or 100 Trait Tokens per roll. No pity.

Can I farm traits in Infinite or raids?

No. Those modes do not drop traits. Infinite at level 20 gives a once-per-day Trait Token cap. You only reroll.

Should I spend Raid Tokens on traits or keys?

Keys first if a limited you want is up (400 tokens, twice a day). Traits on a locked main after that. See the raids guide.

Do assists need to be S-tier mains?

No. Assist DPS is small. Park a kit with an Attack or boss-damage buff. The video on this page ranks assists separately.

When do pets beat more trait rolls?

Once the main has an Uncommon-plus damage trait. Extra rolls have worse expected value than a pet spike. Start on the pets guide.

Which traits are for raids?

Destruction, Executioner, Vicious, Vampire, Reaper. Auspicious is for leveling. Do not Divine-hunt on a starter.
