Anime Dimensions Simulator Best Raid Characters for DPS
Eight minutes, eight players, no self-rooting kits. Swap in the matching limited.
Raids in Anime Dimensions Simulator unlock at account level 15. They are online co-op damage checks: one to eight players, an eight-minute clock, infinite revives, and a boss that does not “die” so much as pay out based on damage bands. Albatross Games shipped this loop years after the 11 June 2021 launch, and it is now the reason most S-tier names exist. This page ranks raid DPS, not dimension mobility. If a kit is S on the character rankings because it dashes through packs, check the notes before you lock it in a raid lobby.
Full raid mechanics, keys, and reward tables live on the raids guide. Trait spend after you pick a main lives on traits and assists.
How raid DPS is actually scored
Raid bosses cannot be finished early by a lucky burst. You play the clock. Every extra player adds 10% team damage, capping at +70% with eight people. Hosts of event raids take more reward rolls than joiners. Your raw Attack number is flattened toward a raid default; characters, traits, cards, pets, and accessories are what still matter. That is why a level 20 account with a correct limited specialist can out-roll a high-level account on the wrong costume.
We rank:
- AoE that stays on the boss for the full eight minutes.
- Uptime — short cooldowns, assist coverage, no 20-second self-root.
- Limited bonus — matching faces gain +50% on that limited raid.
- Party buffs that scale when the lobby is full.
We do not rank dash distance, dimension pack-clear, or “this clip hit for a billion once.” Self-rooting skills that look like S-tier burst are raid liabilities because you stop pumping while the timer keeps moving.
Kodotoki’s Ice Walls plus Fire Fist / Fire Wall package is the example of raid-friendly AoE: wide, repeatable, not a single planted ultimate. Infinite Nojo, Combat Titan, and King of Curses (Incarnate) stay high for the same reason. Shadow Monarch is still a raid main, but his value is uptime and boss damage, not the dash that made him a dimension favorite.
Limited raids and the +50% swap
Limited raids rotate weekly, with three open at once. Each limited lists two (sometimes more) specialists. If you own that face, you take +50% damage for the whole run. That bonus beats a generic S-tier main who does not match the raid. Christmas Alter can be C on a general table and a raid specialist when her raid is up. The same is true for many limited costumes: Demon Girl (New Year), Nilin (Valentine), Priestess (Shrine), Fluffy (Gear 5), Ichini (Final), Nardo (Six Paths), Tanjiro Sun God, Sora Sun God.
Swap before you ready up. The +50% is on the character you fight with, not a collection checkbox. If you do not own the specialist, stay on a generic raid S — Kodotoki, Incarnate, Infinite Nojo, Cursed Sage, Tengu, Scarlet Cutter, Dusk, Nyx Sword King — rather than forcing a B-tier limited you do not have.
July 2026 buffed Dusk, Nyx Sword King, Hime, Shinobi (Six Paths), Scarlet Cutter, Tengu, Sun Gomi, Cursed Sage, Sora Sun God, Combat Giant, Tiger, and Astral Wolf. Raid lists filmed before that pass will park those names too low. Combat Giant and Tiger are A on the general table and raid-relevant after the buff; Astral Wolf is still B generally but no longer a joke in a full lobby.
Event raids (Madoka-style keys) are a different lobby: default HP around 10,000, Attack flattened, keys from 299 Robux, 400 Raid Tokens twice a day, or rare drops. Bring traits and pets, not a dimension farmer.
Party buffs, assists, and what to ignore
A full eight-player lobby is a 70% damage steroid. Solo raids are for people who already print billions. If you cannot break the first reward band, join a populated room instead of rerolling your main.
Assists are a slot, not a second main. A good assist with an attack buff beats parking your second-best S-tier as a dead ability. The assist ranking is not this table; skim traits and assists and do not spend gems on an assist until the raid main is bought.
Raid drops for characters sit around 0.03%. You run raids for Raid Tokens, cards, gems, and keys, then you buy or wait on the shop. Sitting in one limited for a week to “drop the face” is a bad expected-value plan. Tokens also buy trait rerolls at 50 each (or 100 Trait Tokens). Do not empty the token wallet on rerolls the week a limited you want is in the shop.
Raid cores versus dimension toys
Take into raids: Incarnate, Kodotoki, Infinite Nojo, Combat Titan, Shadow Monarch, Fluffy (Gear 5), Ichini (Final), Cursed Sage, Tengu, Scarlet Cutter, Dusk, Nyx Sword King, Sora Sun God, matching limiteds.
Leave in dimensions: high-mobility gem buys (Speed-class), self-rooting beams, Shield Man, base starters, anything whose best button plants you for half the cooldown.
Nojo’s Blue / Red / Curtain / Hollow Purple kit is the teaching example. It is famous, it is B generally, and the long purple is a planted highlight, not eight minutes of uptime. Tonjuro’s water suite is prettier in a dimension than on a raid dummy. Alturia’s Excalibur line is A for maps and only a raid pickup if you lack an S main or she is the +50% face.
Codes at 10, raids at 15, Infinite at 20. Infinite is for cards and a daily Trait Token allowance, not for learning raid DPS. Practice the raid rotation in a real lobby with friends — the game is online co-op, and empty raids waste the eight-minute window.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, raids, gems, and character picks.
When do raids unlock?
Account level 15. Codes are level 10. Infinite is level 20. You can still farm dimensions with friends before raids open.
Do I always play my highest S-tier in a limited raid?
No. If you own the matching limited specialist, swap in for +50% damage. That bonus beats a mismatched S main.
Why did my dimension carry dumpster in raids?
Raid DPS wants AoE and uptime. Mobility kits and self-rooting skills lose to the eight-minute timer. Rank raids on this page, not the general table.
Should I raid until the character drops?
Character drops are about 0.03%. Run for tokens, cards, and keys, then buy from shops. See the raids guide.
Are assists required for raid DPS?
They help, especially attack-buff assists, but they are not a second main. Build the raid character and traits first on traits and assists.
