Character Cards in Anime Dimensions Simulator
Dimension drops that power the equipped face. Gold upgrades them. Shop gold does not.
Character cards are the stat sheets that sit on the one face you have equipped in Anime Dimensions Simulator. They drop from Dimensions. Gold upgrades them. Higher-level Dimensions drop better cards and more gold. That loop is the whole card system. Cards are not a second roster, not a costume, and not a gem-shop SKU. If the equipped character is empty, you are fighting with a kit and no substats.
The game is a free Roblox action RPG from Albatross Games, live since 11 June 2021, with online co-op in Dimensions and raids. Codes unlock at 10, raids at 15, Infinite Mode at 20. Cards drop from the first Dimension you can finish; they do not wait for those gates. What waits is the gold to upgrade them, and the discipline not to buy that gold from a shop.
There is no public Trello. Rarity, substat counts, and raid-table weights below are the numbers players see on live tooltips. If a card’s Dimension requirement moved after a mini update, the card tooltip wins.
How cards attach to a character
You equip one character. Cards that drop while that character is active feed that character’s build. Rarity sets how many substats the card can roll: common none, uncommon one, rare two, epic three, legendary four. Mythic is the raid-and-high-Dimension ceiling, not the Infinite ceiling. A legendary with four useful substats will outplay a common you have gold-leveled to the cap.
Equip the best cards. That sounds obvious until BAG is full of Dimension 1 commons you upgraded “because they were close.” When a higher map drops a strictly better card, swap it on and stop feeding the old one. Community scripts expose the same idea as toggles named AutoSellCard and EquipBestCard: sell junk below a rarity you choose, then equip whatever the GUI ranks as best. Those toggles live on farm loaders listed under auto farm. They are optional, they can get an account banned if the loader injects, and they do not replace knowing which card is actually better. If you play by hand, do the same two steps after every Dimension: sell or ignore trash, equip the upgrade.
Cards do not unlock new faces. New faces come from the gem shop, Dimension bosses, raid shops, and event keys — the pipes on how to unlock characters. A mythic card on Gomi is still Gomi. Put the good cards on the main you will take into raids, not on a starter you are about to bench.
Where they drop and the gold spike
Dimensions are the honest card farm. PLAY, pick the highest map you can finish, collect the drops, leave, repeat. Co-op carries help if you click Start. Under-level maps waste time. Over-level maps you cannot finish waste the hour and drop nothing you can use. The leveling guide is the XP half of that same loop.
Higher-level Dimensions drop better cards and more gold. Around account level 85 the gold from maps jumps hard because card upgrade costs jump with them. That spike is why every serious guide repeats the same shop warning: do not buy gold from Raid Shop or Boss Rush shop to level early cards. Later cards are worth the gold. Early cards are not. If you spend 20 Boss Rush tokens on 50,000 gold at level 25, you have converted a raid-token pile into a card you will delete at 40.
The raid table can drop cards too: legendary about 0.4 percent and mythic about 0.1 percent on a standard roll. That is a bonus on a token farm, not a reason to skip Dimensions. Read raids for the rest of that table (tokens ~78.8 percent, gems 20 percent, Boss Rush tickets 0.5 percent). Infinite Mode at 20 is an endless card farm after matching maps, with a hard stop: no mythics from Infinite. Legendaries there are still worth slotting.
Gold’s job is to upgrade the card you will still wear next week. Feed cards from the Dimension you are currently farming, and only enough that you can clear the next bracket. Substats beat raw level. A rare with two raid-relevant lines at a medium level will beat a maxed common with empty slots.
Shop gold, raid mythics, and when to stop upgrading
Raid Shop and Boss Rush shop both sell gold. Both are traps for early accounts. Raid tokens belong on characters, pets, limited items, trait rerolls, and event keys. Boss Rush tokens belong on the raid-token exchange or unique rush rows, not on 50,000 gold. The progression roadmap marks 85 as the moment dimension gold becomes real. Until then, treat shop gold as bait.
When a raid roll finally lands a legendary or mythic card, slot it if the substats match the main. Do not bank it “for a future character” while the current main wears commons. Cards are for the face you press 1–4 on today. Check the tier list so you are not gold-maxing a card on a unit you are about to replace with a 1600-plus shop buy.
Stop upgrading a card when you out-level its Dimension. The gold you would have spent is the pile you want waiting at 85. EquipBestCard as a habit — script or not — is just “wear the drop from this map.” AutoSellCard as a habit is “do not let commons fill BAG until you cannot see the legendary.” Neither habit needs a loader. Both habits fail if you buy shop gold to keep a dead card alive.
Cards are a Dimension problem with a gold budget. Farm the map you can finish, wear the best drop, spend gold only on cards from the current band, and let raid mythics be luck on top of a token session. The shop gold row is how people arrive at the 85 spike with nothing to spend.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, raids, gems, and character picks.
Where do character cards drop?
Mainly from Dimensions. Higher maps drop better cards and more gold. Raids can roll legendary (0.4 percent) and mythic (0.1 percent) cards. Infinite at 20 drops cards up to legendary.
Should I buy gold from Raid Shop or Boss Rush shop?
No. Later cards are worth the gold. Early cards are not. Spend tokens on units, pets, and traits instead. See raids and the progression roadmap.
When does gold from Dimensions jump?
Around account level 85. That is when upgrade costs and map gold both spike. Save gold for cards from that band.
What do AutoSellCard and EquipBestCard mean?
Community farm toggles that sell junk cards and equip the best remaining ones. You can do the same by hand. Loader risk lives on auto farm.
Do cards unlock new characters?
No. Cards power the equipped face. New faces come from shop, Dimensions, and raids — the pipes on how to unlock.
Which cards should I upgrade?
Cards from the Dimension you are farming, on the main you will raid with. Check the tier list before you gold-max a card on a starter you are about to bench.
