Raids in Anime Dimensions Simulator
Damage thresholds, 1–8 player buffs, weekly limited rotation, and event keys.
Raids unlock at account level 15 in Anime Dimensions Simulator. They are not Dimensions with a bigger health bar. You join a 1–8 player lobby, fight for eight minutes, revive as often as you go down, and cash out based on damage thresholds. The boss is not “killed” in the normal sense; everyone is racing a shared damage meter. This page covers permanent raids, weekly limiteds, event raids with keys, the reward table, and the shop. Pair it with the raid unit ranking when you pick who to equip. The game has been live on Roblox since 11 June 2021 (Albatross Games, @coolbullsAS); raids have been the endgame loop for most of that time.
If you are still below 15, stay on Dimensions and the leveling guide. If you are here for pets that drop from raid shops and capsules, jump to the pets guide after you understand tokens.
How a raid actually works
Party size is 1 to 8. Each extra player adds +10 percent damage to the whole team, capping at +70 percent when the lobby is full. That buff is why a half-empty raid feels awful even if your personal kit is fine. Fill the lobby. After a mid-2020s quality-of-life pass, the team damage boost no longer drops when someone leaves mid-run, so a disconnect does not brick the remaining players the way it used to.
Community wikis put the open window in the first roughly ten minutes of every hour. When that window closes, you cannot start a new raid lobby until the next hour ticks. The timer inside a run is eight minutes. You revive infinitely. Skills, dash, and assists work the same as in Dimensions; see controls if the HUD is still new. Rewards scale with total damage, and the damage numbers required for each reward count are the same for every player. You are not competing for a unique loot table. You are pushing a public threshold. Bring a unit that can hold a rotation for the full eight minutes, not a burst kit that dumps everything in 30 seconds and then auto-attacks.
Limited raids can grant +50 percent damage if you equip the featured character for that raid. Permanent raids do not need that gimmick. Traits (BAG → character → Change Trait, 50 raid tokens or 100 trait tokens) and pets both add damage; they are worth rolling once you have a raid-capable unit, not before. Details on trait odds live on the traits page.
Permanent, limited, and event raids
Permanent raids stay on the board. They are the token backbone. Run them when the weekly limiteds are a bad match for your roster or when you only need the daily raid quest.
Limited raids rotate every week. Three are open at once after the 24 July 2026 mini update. Old limited costumes rotate into the shop on that same weekly cycle. Limited raid items now sit in the shop permanently, so missing a week no longer means you lost the item forever. Check the latest update notes on reset day so you do not farm last week’s three.
Event raids are a third category. Goddess Madoki is the template: you need a key to enter. Keys cost 299 Robux with unlimited uses, 400 raid tokens twice per day, or they drop from other raid rolls (Madoki keys have sat around 0.12 percent on the normal table). Event raids often lock HP and attack to a default (Madoki HP has been 10,000) so the fight is about character kit, traits, substats, and pets rather than raw account level. Hosts have historically received 20 reward rolls while joiners received 4, which is why you host if you paid for the key. If you cannot break a billion damage in a normal raid, bring at least five people to an event raid or the fight drags far past a pleasant session. Madoki’s own table has been dominated by soul gems (about 99.5 percent) with tiny odds on the character and on cards.
Reward table and the raid shop
On a standard raid, each reward roll is about 78.8 percent raid tokens and 20 percent gems. The long tail is Boss Rush tickets (~0.5 percent), event keys (~0.12 percent), accessories (~0.02 percent), event accessories (~0.03 percent), legendary cards (~0.4 percent), mythic cards (~0.1 percent), and characters (~0.03 percent). Weights shift slightly by raid type. You run raids for tokens. Gems are a frequent consolation. Characters from the table are lottery tickets, not a plan.
Raid Shop spends those tokens. Limited characters often cost 3600. Awakenings cost 2000 raid tokens plus 500 awakening tokens. Pets and capsules appear here. Gold appears here too; do not buy it to level early cards. Trait rerolls at 50 tokens are reasonable once you have a main. Banner pity on raid gacha is not reasonable until you have a complete raid kit and spare tokens. If a shop row is a limited item that is now permanent, you can buy it on your schedule instead of during the raid’s live week.
Boss Rush and Speed Raids sit next to the eight-minute raid as extra token and ticket sources. Daily Raid and Time Challenge drip smaller piles. Run Speed Raid plus the hourly raid, then Boss Rush while those are on cooldown. Extra Drop helps Boss Rush and raid drops. AFK Place on weekends (double after the July 2026 mini update) is the idle token or gem drip; park there after the raid block, not instead of it. Notes for idle sits on the AFK page.
Party size, keys, and raid units
Fill to 8 when you can. The +70 percent team buff is more damage than most accessories. Public lobbies are fine; friends-only is fine if you can actually fill it. Solo raids are for testing a rotation, not for farming.
Buy event keys with tokens only if you will host and you want that event’s table. The Robux key is unlimited and is the only Robux spend that is easy to justify for event raids. Do not buy keys you will not host.
Unit choice is a raid tier list problem. The 24 July 2026 mini update buffed Dusk, Nyx Sword King, Hime, Shinobi (Six Paths), Scarlet Cutter, Tengu, Mochi Boy, Sun Gomi, Zane, Dual Wielder, Cursed Sage, Chainsaw, Sora Sun God, Combat Giant, Tiger, and Astral Wolf. If you already own one of those, take it into a raid after the patch before you spend 3600 tokens on a new face. Starter 50-gem units do not belong here; save gems for 1600-plus shop characters as described on the gems page.
Raids are a calendar. Three limiteds this week, a daily, maybe an event key, then AFK on the weekend. Play the board in front of you. The shop will still have last month’s limited item tomorrow.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, raids, gems, and character picks.
When do raids unlock?
Account level 15. Infinite Mode is 20. Codes are 10. You can still farm Dimensions before any of those gates.
Do I need to kill the raid boss?
No. The boss is a damage sponge on an eight-minute timer. Rewards come from damage thresholds, and you revive infinitely.
How many limited raids are open at once?
Three, rotating weekly after the 24 July 2026 mini update. Old limited costumes rotate into the shop; limited raid items are permanent in the shop.
How do Goddess Madoki keys work?
299 Robux for unlimited entries, 400 raid tokens twice per day, or a rare raid drop. Host if you paid for the key; hosts get more reward rolls.
What does the raid table actually drop?
About 78.8 percent raid tokens and 20 percent gems. Cards, characters, tickets, and keys are rare. Farm tokens on purpose; treat the rest as luck.
Who should I bring into raids?
A unit from the raid ranking, not a 50-gem starter. Recheck buffed names after the July 2026 mini update before you buy a new 3600-token face.
