Time Challenge Guide

Time Challenge is the only mode in Anime Dimensions Simulator that forbids a party. You walk in alone, you have eight minutes, and you kill as many Virtual enemies as you can. Unlock it at account level 5. Codes still wait until 10, raids until 15, Infinite until 20. This page is how to use that early window so a stuck Dimension does not freeze your cards.

The game is a free Roblox action RPG from Albatross Games, live since 11 June 2021. Online co-op is the default everywhere else. Time Challenge is the exception: the wiki and player notes agree you cannot team here. If a friend offers to carry Time Challenge, they are thinking of a Dimension. Send them to getting started or level up fast instead.

There is no public Trello for spawn tables. The rules below are the live ones players still use after the 24 July 2026 mini update.

How a run actually scores

You spawn against five Virtual faces: Kirua, Reku, Tonjero, Itabori, and Alturia. They share a health pool that scales with your account level, not with a map selector. A level 5 lobby sees around 250 HP per enemy. A level 30 lobby sees around 1,500 HP. The faces do not change. The HP does. Treat a high-level Time Challenge as a different fight even though the names look the same as last week.

Every 100 kills drops a Virtual card. That card’s level matches the highest Dimension you currently have access to. If Demon Dimension is your ceiling, the Virtual card is a Demon-tier card. If you can already open a later map, Time Challenge prints that later map’s card without you having to finish the later map. That is why this mode exists for accounts that stall on a boss: you still get a card at your unlock tier, not at the last map you fully cleared.

Public drop weights players track for the Virtual row:

  • Virtual Reku — Common, about 45 percent
  • Virtual Tonjero — Uncommon, about 23 percent
  • Virtual Kirua — Rare, about 17 percent
  • Virtual Alturia — Epic, about 9 percent
  • Virtual Itabori — Legendary, about 6 percent

You equip up to three cards. Time Challenge is a card printer, not a gem printer. Gems still come from dailies, codes, and the raid table on how to get gems. Do not skip those because you like the Virtual farm.

Loadout: what actually kills 100

Time Challenge rewards AoE and cooldown, not raid boss-damage accessories. Community accessory notes put cooldown reduction (Energy Wings, Sun God mantle, Liberator’s Sword) and flat attack (Titan Blade) ahead of Maneuver Gear or Devil Wings here, because you are deleting packs, not parking on one health bar. Full accessory rules live on accessories. Fruits that dump instant AoE (Reaper) beat raid-only Robot kits. See fruits.

Pets that hit a pack when the energy bar fills help. A heal pet is a safety net, not a kill-count tool. Do not spend raid tokens rerolling a Time Challenge main; spend them after you own a raid face. Trait order is on traits.

Bring the character you already clear Dimensions with. A 50-gem starter can finish early Time Challenge. A 1,600-gem shop unit finishes it faster. Do not buy a shop unit for this mode. Buy it for Dimensions and raids, then reuse it here.

When to run it versus a Dimension

Run Time Challenge when:

  1. You are level 5 or higher and Dimension 1 already feels slow.
  2. You cannot finish your current Dimension even with a co-op helper clicking Start.
  3. You need cards at your unlock tier without beating the current boss.

Stay in Dimensions when you still need XP, gold, boss character drops, and accessories. Time Challenge does not replace those. Infinite Mode at 20 is a different card farm with waves and a random tenth-wave boss; do not confuse the two. Infinite notes sit on Infinite Mode.

Boosts from codes still tick in Time Challenge. Burn a short all-boosts timer here only if you can actually hit 100 kills before it expires. Standing in the hub with a boost running is still a waste; the codes hub already says that.

Common mistakes

  • Inviting a friend. The mode is solo. They cannot enter.
  • Treating Virtual cards as a second roster. They are stat sheets on the equipped face, same as Dimension cards. Upgrade rules are on cards.
  • Farming Time Challenge at level 4. The door is closed.
  • Ignoring HP scale. A level 40 account that never upgraded cards will bounce off 1,500 HP Virtuals. Upgrade gold on the cards you have, or drop back to a Dimension you can finish for gold.
  • Using a raid-only accessory that only boosts boss damage. Packs are not that boss.

There is still no Trello. If a patch moves the level gate, trust the in-game button. Cross-check latest updates after a mini patch. Time Challenge is not a raid, not Boss Rush, and not AFK Place. It is eight minutes, one player, 100 kills, one Virtual card. Run it when a Dimension stall is costing you the card ladder, then go back to co-op maps for XP.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for codes, raids, gems, and character picks.

What level do I need for Time Challenge?

Account level 5. Codes still unlock at 10. See getting started if you are under 5.

Can I play Time Challenge with friends?

No. It is the only mode that blocks a party. Use Dimensions or raids for co-op.

What do 100 kills drop?

A Virtual card at the level of the highest Dimension you can enter, not the last one you fully beat. Card rules are on cards.

Which accessory is best here?

Cooldown reduction or flat attack. Boss-damage pieces are for raids. Rankings sit on accessories.

Is Time Challenge the same as Infinite Mode?

No. Infinite opens at level 20 as an endless wave farm. Time Challenge is a timed solo kill-count from level 5. See Infinite Mode.

Does this replace gem farming?

No. It prints cards. Gems still come from dailies, codes, and raids.
